Cuidados y limpieza

Todas las piezas de Acosta en Plata están realizadas a mano y puede existir diferencias entre una pieza y otra.
Estas viendo imágenes digitales que dependiendo de cómo esté calibrado tu monitor o pantalla pueden existir una variación del color de las piezas.

Cuidado

La plata se oscurece porque reacciona a sustancias que pueden haber en el ambiente y al PH de cada persona.
No exponer la pieza de plata a la luz artificial o natural por largos periodos de tiempo.
No utilizar directamente sobre la pieza de plata agentes corrosivos como: cloro, grasa, sudor, perfume, agentes alcalinos.
No guardar la pieza en un lugar donde exista contacto directo con la madera; ésta puede contener ácidos que afecten la superficie de la plata.
Intenta que las piezas no se toquen unas con otras para evitar que se rayen.
Guarde la pieza de plata en un lugar fresco, seco y hermético, para evitar la oxidación.

Limpieza

Según el acabado de la pieza hay diferentes maneras de realizar la limpieza.

Plata

No utilizar para la limpieza de la pieza de plata productos abrasivos.
Limpiar con agua tibia y jabón PH neutro. Utilizar agua con bicarbonato y un cepillo de dientes suave para remover la suciedad.
Secar sobre un paño absorbente de algodón 100% con un secador de pelo a temperatura media.
Para una limpieza en seco utilice una goma de borrar, frotando suavemente sobre la superficie de la pieza de plata.

Titanio

Limpiar la pieza suavemente con un paño de algodón húmedo para eliminar el polvo de la superficie. Limpiar con agua tibia y jabón PH neutro.
Secar sobre un paño absorbente de algodón 100% con un secador de pelo a temperatura media..

Plata Oxidada

Una pieza oxidada se obtiene coloreando químicamente el metal en forma superficial, con el uso y el paso de tiempo puede ir perdiendo ese color oscuro.
No utilizar para la limpieza de la pieza de plata productos abrasivos.
Limpiar con agua tibia y jabón PH neutro.
Secar sobre un paño absorbente de algodón 100% con un secador de pelo a temperatura media.

Plata con baño en oro

Limpia la pieza suavemente con un paño de algodón húmedo para eliminar el polvo de la superficie.
Limpiar con agua tibia y jabón PH neutro.
Secar sobre un paño absorbente de algodón 100% con un secador de pelo a temperatura media.

Care and Cleaning Instructions

All the pieces by Acosta en Plata are handmade, this causes that there might be slight differences between the pieces.

Care

Silver darkens because it reacts to substances that can be found in our environment and to the Ph of each person. Don’t expose the silver piece to natural or artificial light for long periods of time. Don’t use corrosive agents directly on the piece, such as: Bleach, grease, sweat, perfume or alkaline agents.
Don’t store your piece in direct contact with wood ; it can contain acids that affect silver’s surface. Try to store your jewelry separately so it doesn’t scratch when it rubs against each other. Store the piece in a fresh, dry, hermetic place, to avoid oxidation.

Cleaning

Depending on the finish of the piece there are different ways you can clean it. Polished

Silver

Don’t use abrasive products to clean the silver piece. Clean with warm water and a Ph neutral soap. Use Baking soda and a soft toothbrush to remove any dirt. Dry on top of an absorbent 100% cotton cloth with a blow dryer at a medium temperature. If you want to clean the piece in a dry way, you can also use an eraser, rubbing the surface of the silver piece gently.

Titanium

Clean the piece gently with a moist cotton cloth to remove the dust of the surface. Clean with warm water and neutral PH soap.
Dry on a 100% cotton absorbent cloth with a hair dryer at medium temperature.

Oxidized Silver

A piece of oxidized silver is made by chemically coloring the metal in a superficial way, with use and the passing of time it can lose it’s dark color. Don’t use abrasive cleaning products to clean the silver piece. Clean with warm water and a Ph neutral soap. Dry on top of an absorbent 100% cotton cloth with a blow dryer at a medium temperature.

Gold plated Silver

Clean the piece gently with a damp cotton tissue, to remove any dust on the surface. Clean with warm water and a Ph neutral soap. Dry on top of an absorbent 100% cotton cloth with a blow dryer at a medium temperature.
